How far to carry with a bucket?
With hogs back in the day, we poured into a trough twice a day with 5 gallon buckets and they will come to drink (and tip the troughs).LOL! Give them a few minutes and when it is bitterly cold and below freeing, dump the troughts out and do it all over again.We used water heater tanks cut into half the long way, welded some legs on the bottom and being that C shape,that way the frozen stuff lets loose easier when you tap on the metal or have to pour warm water over the outside.
