I have a friend who used to farm with a 4994. When the engine went out he transplanted a cummins 855 into it. Used for another year then traded it for a JD
9420.
Did he trade with a Dealer in KS? I remember the local dealer having a Cummins powered 4994 on tractor house for a short while, IDK if it even hit the lot before it was sold.
