While the crabsteer Case tractors are an interesting footnote in history, the best thing Case-IH did was put them to pasture with the purchase of the Steiger line. Would have been an interesting timeline to see play out if CNH had kept the Versatile line instead.
Dont forget the 9240 and 9260 were Crab Steer Steigers.
Interesting concept for sure, like the 2+2, the late ones were far superior to the early ones. |
