I always weaned them for a month and started them weaning a week after a shot of Vista and 8 Way. I just never wanted to sell my calves all stressed out from weaning them on the truck. if I was a buyer, I wouldn't buy calves that were not weaned ahead of time and didn't have their pre-weaning vaccinations.
