Thanks for asking, Don! He's doing well. Pain has been very manageable, with not a lot of drugs. His hand was detached from the grafting site in his abdomen yesterday morning, so he's feeling pretty spry that he can actually move that arm and elbow. Has a couple new stitched places from the detachment surgery that are a bit irritating, but not intolerable. He has a lot of therapy and hard work in front of him, but he's determined (read: bullheaded) enough that the work certainly won't scare him off. Thanks again! |
