We cut some mid December last year. Ended up wrapping it because we were scared it wasn't dry enough, but I think it would have been ok. Looked the same coming out as it did going in the wrapper. We laid it in a tight windrow behind the mower and just let it lay about 5 days, no tedder. Ran the rake right in front of the baler.
