Care to share how many cows per bale? Are these cows limited to this pasture area previous to feeding? I've made this work in situations when overstocking winter stockpile with hay as they are fast to eat then move on to explore/graze thus expecting all hay and grazable forage planned to be consumed in 3-5 hours. Kind of mob grazing with hay mixed in. That wasn't for me or my cows. However otherwise on my place the toughest 10 cows eat, poop and bed within 3 hours on the same spot while the remaining 30 gets left limited. You must have another attraction in the pasture to get them to move on once have eaten. With dry ground and hungry cows - why not unroll?
