East central Iowa

Start in Des Moines, go down I35, at Kansas City take I435 to I70 to Topeka, down to Gainesville TX, so we saw a lot of acres that went way back and not harvested.
We saw a couple of combines in the field on the way home.  We were surprised at the smaller head on the combines, around home they use a 45' head and many of those fields were a lot bigger than you see in eastern Iowa.  I mentioned the fields at mile marker 74 on I35 in Missouri because those fields were huge (and still unharvested).
