WCOH | I asked a similar question over the summer and got some good recommendations. I looked at brillions, glencoe, sunflower, allis chalmers. I really liked the ac 1500 chisel plow but could only find 9 shanks and wanted 11. Found a sunflower and had my mind made up that was what iwas going to get. Then at last minute found a dmi colter champ for much less money and bought it. Very happy with it. Dmi made good heavy stuff.
It is 11 shank i pull with a 4955 fwa and its none too big. I want to go deep 8-10".
I am not knocking the glencoe or brillions but after buying one i would want the much heavier framed sunflowers,dmi or allis chalmers. | |
