To change the sight glass, take a shop vac and stick the nozzle in the fuel fill but not in he fuel. Have someone seal it off best they can with a rag. Then turn it on and replace the sight glass, it won’t spill a drop. I have done it many times to replace the crossover tube that’s on the bottom of an 8420 fuel tank.
