And, what crops do you grow, are you looking to interseed into corn, or (gulp) beans, or a small grain crop.

How much time after harvest is there for a cover to grow on harvested land, do you want one that overwinters.

I dabble a little by planting a cover crop with my few acres of small grains, but that is an insignificant number of acres.

I have thrown in a cover crop mix in some broadcast urea I applied to thigh high corn, that was interesting but was only a bag to see water hay happened. I was going to do so again this year, but it just rained and rain and rained, I didn’t even get the urea on the area I was going to play with.
