You could be on to something there, I completely forgot that I used one bag of seed that was a couple years old, and the other bag was just a busted open bag the seed salesmen had. I don't remember anymore but I bet the bags ended up in two boxes side by side on the planter. Considering that everything looked good in the early summer, I bet the deer just preferred one variety over the other. I think they were both LG but I'm not sure which variety. Now I just wish I knew which one the deer wrecked so I could avoid it in the future! Thanks!
