just a tish NE of central ND
Been aroud ground corn, ground barely, ground oats and soybean meals and other additives all my life. Usually 7 to 14 tons at a time ground up here.ANY of the corn, barely and oats will get stale in time. The warmer and the more humid the grains are the worse it is. We never wanted ground grains more than 3 to 4 weeks sitting in the shed.It wasnt horrible in a month, the but it just didn't small fresh anymore. It seems like the grain dust pickups up moisture real easy and grinding makes dust.
