Farms with multiple owners where one is out more and another is in the books more can conflict here.
Don’t try to make farming too fun or you’re finished.
I think you are right with both of these comments.
My husband focuses on the work and ignores the books- he says it just drags him down mentally to work and keep up with finances..
I do the financials.
I thought it was a great idea at the time- its ended up causing a lot of trouble between us. Ignorance is bliss for him- but I have very little leverage for him to consider changes. Hes just having fun farming without the big picture. |
