NNW Nebraska		I also usually use one barbed.

I know it is not NAT approved, however I have never saw a animal caught in a single barbed wire.

Multiple wires hot or not, smooth or barbed, different story.

Use a 6 joule (minimum) fencer, battery with silar panel, is fine.
