like others have said it was a high interest and low price time in farming also. too much new or used machinery was a "blue tombstone also". there was at least 14 blue silos put up in a say 14 mile radius here. today only 2 are still standing and are not being used. few of these didn't last 2-3 years. there was a little of who could out do the other but all ment well.
