Put them in as high up as you can--about the only ones I've lost were froze to the ground when cow rested upright.....pick a color neighbors don't have---I used to have white, they are the most common, didn't use them for a while--requested pink, couldn't find, so settled for red---and they really jump out at you if your cows get mixed with neighbors.

ps---either drill the appropriate size hole in a pair of pliers--do end of both handles so you don't have to pay attention--or just drill hole in end of about a 3/8 bolt---and when you punch hole in brisket, keep it pinched with other hand till you get the wire dealie thru---holes can kinda get outa line..


Anyone wants some I got a couple hundred that I'm looking to market.
