We cant be too hard on the mail, just think of all the peices and exchanges these have to go through before we get it. Its almost a miracle we ever get most of it and we sure cant drive there in person that cheap to deliver.
Edit to add.... be carefull what you wish for, if the mail really went away like some want it to, then what would you do to gt stuff from one place to another on the cheap?
So true. Can't imagine a company, or maybe companies, that would have the infrastructure to ship packages, in the millions, 7 days a week and deliver with their own vehicles 6 days a week. Yep, can't possibly happen without taxpayers subsidizing the gvt. to fumble through such a tough job. I'd even imagine if such a thing existed and one had to pay the real "shipping" costs, that things like junk mail would completely go away. Better be careful on those wishes.
