Onalaska WI | You can look at it like there are two types of rodent coverage:
1. Where a rodent chews wires or damages the thing that is covered- you see that happen in cars when people park them over the winter. I could see that mot being covered. most equipment blankets are covered for "broad" perils.
2. I would GUESS the raccoon getting caught in something is different- almost like hitting a deer. The raccoon didn't inflict the damage, the "collision" of the two things did. Could be looked at differently.
When you schedule (specifically list) an implement, you can get more coverage for things that might happen. It depends on the policy; but whether we are talking about ingestion, expanded coverage on livestock or the difference between a corn dryer being listed as a building or an implement- asking a couple questions about why things are on a particular part of the policy is a good idea. | |
