Hastings, Florida | As a long time fan of the original TREK, thought this new movie was awesome. Much better than I expected. Never cared for show without Kirk's crew.I predict the producers will return to the original story-line with these new actors, making more movies with Kirk, Spock, Scottie, etc. Notice that many of the ideas were from past movies [ snow planet, Spock flying small fighter alone, Nero was a lot like Khan, bug in brain like Kahn, etc]. This new Kirk has really mastered the original James T. persona. Writers did an excellent job of bringing it all together. Kirk trying to hit on Uhura, and getting turned down, was fabulous. Loved this new one. Most excellent. | |
