First piece of machinery I bought was a Morris B2-24 rod weeder in 1974. $1800 was a lot of money for a young guy just getting strted back then but I got a lot of use out of it over the next 14 years when I replaced it with a bigger B3-30 at a farm auction for I think less than I paid for the 24 foot. By 1988 nobody wanted them and they were selling cheap. I still have both but they have been sitting for many years.
