New Enterprise,Pa. | I'm a dairy farmer. Alarm goes at 4 am. Bedtime is any where from 9-10:30 pm depending when I get the evening chores done. Seven days a week. Get up at midnight sometimes to check on a calving cow and then back to bed. That plays havoc with getting back to sleep. That said I'm 65 and thinking I need to get out of the dairy business or cut back as the daily wear and tear is starting to take its toll on me. BUT. I'm currently visiting my daughter in Virginia this weekend and didn't get up till 8:30 this morning though I didn't go to bed till about 11;30 pm. Felt sorta nice to get up when I feel like it. LOL.
