south west iowa | We have done some before that was a little wet and they was OK in the bale. Then when we ran them in the tub grinder for feed the pile would heat up and look like silage and cows just loved it. Just don't grind much over a week of feed or it would start to mold. They don't make very good bedding but better than none at all. The baler didn't have a tester on it so don't know what they tested.
