Dad had 970, 2290, DC3, and an 830 confort king diesel when I was growing up. Loved that 830 with the torque converter in it. Would start out in a little too much gear pulling wagons after dark. Kill the lights and watch the thing pull a foot long flame out the exhaust. We'd put the DC on the old MM model D corn sheller. All good tractors.
