We have a 4 shank 2500 that we use on heavy clay ground. 7240 has no problem with a 4 shank. Last year we had a 3 pnt hitch potentiometer fail on the 7240 and used the 7430 for 2 days on the weekend. The 7430 was out of power the majority of the time. Also have a neighbour on lighter ground runs a 5 shank 2500 behind mx210 and its a good match
