Neighbor told me to replace the teeth every year. He makes 1000s of bales every year. He told me he put a new set on one year and didn't break a tooth all year (even after several 1000 cornstalk bales) and left them on the next year and started breaking teeth. He said now he starts every season with new teeth and has not had to replace any mid season for several years now.
