Talked to a farmer from Ashby right after it all went down. He had just hauled in 8000 bushels of corn right before they shut it down, he said he should have known something was up because one of the board members is his neighbor and he wasn’t hauling anything in and he knew he had contracts to fill. So not so sure that the board was so inoccent and didn’t know anything was going on. Another kicker to this is the managers brother in law managed an elevator 30 miles south of there and he got removed from his job 2 or 3 years ago for doing some funky stuff at that elevator and the Ashby manager use to work for his brother in law at that elevator.
