Coup you prove my point. You expect the board members to be on the hook, those jobs don't pay that well. A board usually has 2 audits per year. Shouldn't the auditors be trusted by the board? Do the board members need to climb the bins to see if the grain is really all there?


I currently set on a board and refuse to take pay. Am not on there for the money. Am on there to help get a mess straightened out that the previous inept bunch created. Will guarantee you if I was on that coop board things would have been brought to light long before it did.

Most folks that set on boards are about as worthless as tits on a boar when it comes to overseeing and handling other peoples money.
