Edit, I wonder what was the purpose of a roll of asbestos? Probably tough to dispose of in good conscience too.
Back when steam was used for a power source a lot of pipes were wrapped with asbestos,I’ve got an old industrial supply catalog from the thirties that sold stuff to sawmills and oilfield type industries and you could buy asbestos like that. |
