N FLA | I'm not sure what you saw near I-75. Im sure you saw peanuts and peanut harvest along the highway, but I can't think of any peanut buying points you would see from the highway unless they are in Georgia. The buying points receive the nuts and dry them, grade them, and usually store them in a flat floor warehouse. Then they are sent to shellers months later.
Ilive right at exit 427, just a couple minutes off the highway. A few agtalkers have stopped by to see me. My work is about 25 miles from the interstate, west of exit 399. So I am about 50 miles south of Georgia. | |
