Subject: RE: Upflush toilets or sewage basins for basement

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
Added -- guess what you call a sewage basin
About a 20 gallon or so plastic tank with a pump that is activated with a float and a check valve in the 2" line that hooks to bigger sewage line going to my septic tank-- all came as a kit

Has worked great for 15 or so years
Installation was a little tough -- bust out the concrete not too bad-- used a hammer drill and a concrete saw
But my house was built on solid rock --took some jack hammering to get a hole about 30" deep to install the tank
I misted water on the rock while busting it up -- kept the dust down-- and my wife happier
Used sack create to concrete it all back in
When I installed mine some salesman suggested the up flush didn't work as good -- but I have not used an up flush

Good luck --Dan
