Do a long tie (width of large size mooremaker pliers) lineman.
What’s that knot in the middle? Looks like a breaking point years later.
Also use OK BRAND premium, used oilfield pipe and and 7018, none which are agtalk approved, I also prefer no overheads!!! its a figure 8 tied back to the opposite wire

I’ve never seen any splice break. For me wire breaks where it’s stapled to wood too tightly or just rusts into
I hate used pipe.
I despise slick hot wire except where used as a bumper wire to keep cattle off a real fence. I don’t even like barbed wire much. I like high tensil net wire.
7018 is my rod of choice but I grind all the surfaces clean.
I use overheads but don’t like them. |
