Thanks YeeHee. Mindsets are slowly changing, as I said earlier, when I first started hunting 38 years ago everybody had the brown it’s down mentality. And they also kept every trophy fish. The fishing community has been quicker to respond than the deer hunting community. Attached is a pic of the last night of my late muzzleloader season a couple years ago. The year I never shot a buck. These bucks were in bow range. And I never even raised my gun. My number 1 bucket lister is to get a net 200” whitetail. Highly doubt I’ll ever achieve it. And to Pitts snarky comment about ego; Ego has nothing to do with it. The outdoors is my passion, and everybody that knows me well understands that. If I come across that way, sorry, but that’s not me.

Boone, I'll gladly come take a 170" off your hands! Just let me know when and where :)

We are moving to the same type of hunting in our area, or trying to. We contend with a few different other shotgun groups that are in the "if it is brown, its down" group, and with 1st season shotgun being buck only, they shoot anything with horns. We've moved to second season, might be going late muzzy this year, and are being a lot more picky about the deer that we shoot. We need to get a few stands finished up yet (have to get crops out of the way first), and then we should be ready to go. Heck, I'm just looking forward to chasing some ringnecks!
