| I finally go to demo this head. Amazing! 40’. Firstly, I can see the entire cutter bar and nearly 100% of the belts without obstruction, no leaning and straining to view. Secondly, it’s powerful! The shaft driven dual knife drive doesn’t even think about laboring or stalling as it bites into a full width cutter bar full of beans, no matter how fast I entered them and it cuts very low without pushing... just keeps floating! Third, awesome flexibility - 9” of flex. The auto flex function is exactly what I’ve dreaming of on a bean head. You don’t have to set or adjust the pre-set cutting heights. The cutter bar automatically adjusts to the ground as you harvest. Don’t ask me how, it just works well. Travels right down 30” row beans and never pushes up. Great flip over reel, ultra narrow end caps and very clean design. It’s auto contour system is very fast and floats well. I think I’ve bought my last MD FD.
