jakescia - 10/12/2018 15:32 I watched the Kavanaugh "inquiries", and thought....... how in the hell could intelligent people base so much weight on so little fact.........how can we as citizens allow that kind of crap to go on within our decision-making bodies......... and then I got on the "shout 'em down, and call them names" page (aka TP&P)...........and better understood why our country seems to be trending "that direction". I dont even own a tv. Have'nt since 2002. Only newspaper I've ever read cover to cover was a northwest ag paper "Capital Press". I quit subscribing to it too about the same time. I di'nt even know about the space shuttle Columbia until some lady at the post office told me about it. I find that those that watch tv and read or listen to the "news", tend to extend that negativity through the rest of their daily lives. Sad. But someday, as my grandpa used to say, no matter how bad things get, they will always get that much better again. |
