South Georgia | I'm in Mitchell county. It's a danged mess. No internet and really sketchy cell service right now. I came to Moultrie this morning, they have cell service and internet working over here.
The cotton that I've layed eyes on i guessed at 70% lost. Pecans likely 100%. There's a lot of harvestable nuts on the ground, but there are so many trees and limbs on the ground that they can't be harvested until after cleanup and cleanup will bust them all. Haven't seen pecan trees but our small groves, and I don't want to guess at a %, but a significant amount of trees have been taken out of production.
It's a danged mess.
And this is on top of a record low cotton yield last year.
