Central Ga | I thought we took it on the chin pretty hard here in Central Georgia last night and we did. We lost approximately 200 lbs of cotton per acre. Fortunately we had no property damage. I was pretty down in the dumps until reports started filtering in from south of here. Most of the cotton starting not too far south of here was totally destroyed. Most farmers were picking or about to pick their best crop ever. The panhandle of Florida and some part of southeast Alabama is the same. There is nothing left and the property damage is staggering. | |
