| my 7yr old daughter got an ant farm for her birthday lastweekend. well i put her off until today to populate it. the instructions that came with it said you could get your own ants or you could order them from the maker of the farm. well i saw no need in buying ants whenever theres no shortage of them around here.
in the instructions it was my understanding that if you dont capture a queen ant with the initial group, in time one of them will become a queen. is this correct? i just got approx 25 ants from a den of them on the farm. wonder how long they will live and such.? | |
