Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | I got declined at a local business. I said, "Huh?" Told them "let me make a call, be right back" Called em up, Ms Patel on the other side said that there was a security breach with one of my merchants and they had to close that account. I said "why not cut the other guy off, not me?" She said "no can do, legal action pending" I asked which merchant? She said she couldn't say. I asked what happens if I try to do business with them again, then he'll have the new number too? She didn't have a good answer. Anyway they sent me a new card with a new number. I was pretty irritated. I've had that card # since 1992 and it was one of the few numbers I actually had memorized which is rare and difficult for me. Oh well. I guess at least I didn't get stuck for the bill. Too many crooks out there to have a convenient life. |
