Little River, TX | It is my opinion that the less spent on a wedding the better the chance for it to go the full route.
Before the stars get in Mama's eyes have a talk. Establish how much is reasonable considering your net worth and earnings.
Remember the later in the day the wedding the less formal the occasion.
Neighbor has a camp under a bunch of big old native pecan trees next to the river. The ceremony was there as was the reception. Both his daughters were married at the camp, by a JP. By my rule of thumb those marriages should just fade away after 75 or so years. The males in the wedding party wore Laundry Starched and Ironed blue jeans and a white shirt.
We were married February 1959, at 7 PM. The Bride wore a real nice blue suit. That Suite did not get put up, but went to many functions over the next 15 years. | |
