Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | I had one when I got crushed by the lowboy. Had a bulge just above my belt, slightly right of center. I didn't find it for 7 months after my accident because I was laid up so long it didn't show up until physical therapy. Doctor said "think of squeezing a balloon and releasing just before it pops, it messes up part of the balloon and it's the same with a muscle. Kind of like that white strechy layer you might peel off of a chicken breast. Anyway he put a mesh patch in me and that was it. It was a rather minor repair compared to all the titanium hardware they put in me to fix the other damage. It sometimes hurts even after 2 1/2 years, but only if I do stuff I shouldn't be doing anyway. It's hard for me to follow orders, but I get that occasional reminder when I can't get comfortable and fall asleep at night. |
