Beresford, SD | One pen is shut down, got forms set to pour concrete, bout a 150 yard pour....contract calves coming Nov 1. Need to sell some fats to make room (they are done!)....combine has not turned a wheel, and rain pouring down tonight while feeding.... Enough that water made my concrete forms look like a dam! Stress, oh yeah, Thank god for Coors. Thankful that the 6650 is cleaned up and tucked away for the year and the feed pile is tarped. Mother Nature can be moody.....she sure has PMS! Everyone in the Midwest say a prayer that the rain will stop and we all can have a successful fall harvest. As of tonight 12+ inches the last 3 weeks................I am definitely aging fast, all though I did shower and shave this am. | |
