I struggled with it for 15 YEARS until I was getting an upper scope that showed beginnings of troubling erosion. That doc put me on 2 Omeprazole a day and took me OFF all Excedrin for pain. Said take Tylenol.

Fast forward and another doc says you take Tylenol, thats bad dont take that. Take Advil or Aleve etc.

Next doc says no Advil or Aleve or anything else.

IF you can keep up with all the docs recommendations

BUT all pain meds have a rebound bad effect on us, same with Tramodol, anyone taking that should stop ASAP

BTW my Gerd is almost gone. I think the pain meds caused most of it.
