Yes, I remember seed prices going up...."it's because seed growers are considering jumping back to plain commercial corn due to the high commodity prices and we need to pay them more to keep them growing seed corn.....".

OK...so I guess there's no chance they want to jump back in to the $3 commercial corn pool now? There's always an explanation, problem is it's usually b.s.

Another poster suggests when/if tariffs are removed or flattened, prices may  lower due to competition. Why doesn't that happen in the input markets? Like seed.
