Grandpa used a lot of DDT on his fruit trees and 2,4,5 T as a brush killer and he lived a long and full life. That would have been in the 60's and 70's. I don't think he was aware of anything negative about using them. I disposed of the 2,4,5-T a few years ago when the state was doing a disposal program.
