Puckerville Dead center N.Y. | I had a bunch still out a few years ago. Then it froze up and I ended up getting about 100 acres off o Christmas eve then Christmas day. Still had about 35 that had to wait till spring. By then the pods had opened and I didn't even try on the last 20. I did find out that frozen ground is far rougher on guards than any rock I've come across yet. The 14 acres I did do in spring did look good but ended up about 20% of what was coming off in fall. I hope I never see that day again. |
At least I am getting free storage on my beans...
