I think the smaller schools have better tasting food. The small school I went to in Wis had the best cooks. Back then you could go back for seconds, thirds, etc at no extra charge. When they had sloppy joes or a beef commercial dinner you could count on it all being eaten. When they ran out of buns or potatoes they'd put gravy on slices of bread for you until the gravy or meat sauce was gone. For $1.25/wk it was a very good deal. The big city schools in Mpls had more selection, but it didn't taste as good.
