| Would you use it if he wasn't?
If it would be sitting in your barn and he's your friend, send it to him full of fuel and get it back the same way (especially if he's doing an oil change in there). If you would be using it for something if he wasn't, yea there needs to be a charge. I'm not much help with that. FWIW, when we custom cut beans I charge $50/day for tractor and cart and if we supply operator that's another $15/hour. This is for a relative (uncle by marriage) in a tough situation.... he's 75 and doing it for the tax write off and enjoyment. I'm not gonna stop that dream so we plant/harvest it all pretty cheap for him. | |
