I left a few acre in 2016, wasn’t worth it to hire a custom guy and snow was on the ground when it froze up. The beans where drifted over and not much was there come spring time. But between the .48 minimum storage fee at some local elevators and 1.50-1.75 basis I don’t know if a guy is much worse off letting them be in the field. Not a fun year for soybeans.
At least I am getting free storage on my beans...
