I'm with you juiceman, I think way too many kids today are spoiled.

We had a very industrious cooking crew when I was there. Most schools were on the "free cheese and dairy" program back then. They all knew very few kids (even back then) would eat cottage cheese, so they used it to make these high rise rolls that were served every day, Much like what you get in some of these fance Italian restarants before dinner. They were subbing the cottage cheese for milk in the roll recipe. Kids never knew it, ha.

I never complained, even back then when we had fish every Friday for the Catholic thing. The joke of the kitchen was this semi-downs syndrome boy, who was obviously taught very hood manners (something I see missing in a lot of kids today, not all) by his parents. He ate very little of anything on his plate, didn't matter what it was. While he was scraping it all off in the barells, he would always say real loud (while dumping) "GOOD DINNER" to the cooks.

Had to be there.
